Investment Pathways
CDFI
For our banking partners, we offer multiple pathways to participate in the lending and investment activity of OPAL Community Capital, our certified Community Development Financial Institution, each of which is targeted to deliver Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) credit to our partners.
Tax Credits
For our bank partners, corporate partners, and certain accredited individuals, we offer opportunities to reduce federal income tax liability through participating in Historic Tax Credit transactions. We are also able to offset Alabama state income tax liability for all our partners through participation in various programs, including Alabama’s Investment Tax Credit program and Innovate Alabama.
Opportunity Zones
For our partners with capital gain events, we provide wraparound support in developing and implementing an Opportunity Zone investment strategy.
Private Equity
For our partners looking for the right combination of risk-adjusted returns and community impact, we offer a variety of direct and fund investment opportunities (from mezzanine debt to common equity).
